What do America, Yemen and Finland have in common? Why, being the top 3 most armed countries of course. According to the Finnish news
According to the latest Small Arms Survey, released in Geneva on Tuesday, Finland has 56 firearms for every 100 people, making it the world’s third most armed country in the world behind the United States and Yemen, where the respective figures are 90 and 61.
The study concludes there are 90 guns per 100 people in the US and 61 per 100 in Yemen. While the numbers may be surprising, Finland has a population of about 5 million people and is sparsely populated. Therefore, the weapons that seem so prevalent are actually hunting rifles. However, on the up side, silencers are legal with the argument being it reduces noise pollution.
