North Korea’s “Brilliant Comrade!”

kim_jong_un_0529

One of the latest known photos of Kim Jong Un

1948 brought the world “Great Leader.” 1994 brought the world “Dear Leader.” 20?? will visit upon the world “Brilliant Comrade.” According to the AP (via Yahoo) Kim Jong Il’s successor, 26 year old Kim Jong Un (youngest of three sons), will assume the helm of the North Korean regime under official reference as “Brilliant Comrade.”

Given his father’s ability to use “diplomacy,” lack of transparency, political sleight and apocalyptic threats to extort the necessary balance of resources and cash (in part from his “sworn” enemies! Attila anyone? Maybe the Pasha of Tripoli? I digress…) to keep his regime running and his elite subserviant, I have to wonder if that official reference is a generation too late.

Yes, no technical difficulties here, the man is loony enough to appoint a red X to carry on the family torch. :)

Image is fixed and I've corrected the son's name as well. Un not Sun.
Thanks.

Thank you for fixing the "x". I was going to ask if anyone had notified his next of Kim.

Speaking of "x", looks like the guy is ruthless enough to rule North Korea...
