For example, India has a deal set up for this year to send a (quarter or half) million tons of rice to Myanmar, to deal with Myanmar's expected shortfall of 1 million tons. By the way, Myanmar is a cooler name for the country than the British colonialist's Burma, even if the awful SPDC, the junta formerly known as SLORC, adopted it. The map is wrong in some ways. They're allowing transit of shipments from India to Afghanistan, but assorted thugs in the tribal areas have instituted their own bans on shipments to Afghanistan.
