For that matter, why not just propose a merger between Macedonia and Greece? Send the Greeks off the deep end even as you propose something that actually reduces the likelihood of interest conflicts (the Turks laughing their heads off will likely not help the mood in Athens).

Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia? Republic of Macedonia? Republic of Macedonia (Skopje)?

If the Greeks are going to be this paranoid, I say live a little: I hereby propose Hellenic Republic (Liberated Zone).

The problem with holding grain off the market is that when the market breaks, you can't sell it fast enough. Buyers sit on the sidelines knowing it will be cheaper tomorrow. Wheat has taken a big hit in the last couple of weeks. I suspect rice has too.
