The issue is that he was subjected to death threats and now must live under police protection, no TV station was willing the show due to intimidaton, live leak employees were threatened, the Netherlands had to implement a world wide plan to protect their citizens and embassies across the Islamic world etc. - this on the basis that Geert showed some quotations from the Qur'an and Hadith and some clips of Muslim salafists speaking. The line drawn with regard to Freedom of Expression has already been drawn - no infringement of Copyright or trademarks, no defamation, no incitement to violence, no "shouting fire in a crowded theatre" - together with the slightly more dubious no incitement to hatred. If anti-Koran film is freedom of expression; then if someone swears in public at that movie's director is also expression! Atleast, we could bring some logic in our arguments!
