Today is the 10th and we’ll see if Anonymous’s war on Scientology will actually result in protests IRL. I will be adding to this post as I see stuff come in. I will keep only to MSM coverage clips because there is sure to be tons of handheld street-level stuff. If you see anything please add it in the comments. EDIT 2: Some “speculative” numbers say that 500 made it to London, 250 to New York, about 9000 worldwide. Not bad for a bunch of computer geeks that rarely see sunlight. (*_*)v
EDIT 3: Tons of pics, media coverage and personal videos here. Below is just a taste. The protests were able to get 30-90 second spots on many news outlets and countless articles on MSM websites. Not sure what the effect will be but I think it is pretty amazing that the internet culture was manifested in real life (though many Chanologists were disappointed with the turnout and the lack of media coverage in London). They even brought some of their memes to real life including rick-rolling and a rendition of chocolate rain.
