a) Are those nations cooperating on dealing with the rebellion?
b) What, if anything, it means to be Malian or Nigeri if the people occupying most of your land (your ‘connecting tissue’, really) don’t seem themselves that way?
and
c) If the only way to stay intact is to work closely with another country, shouldn’t you be considering a merger? Or at least some form of decentralisation of power so you don’t HAVE to work with another country to stay together?
