
Image randomly found on Wikipedia. It is a 1911 critique of capitalism advocating unionism. I think it reflects nicely how unionism is about “me” getting my gains, and not about the group/humanity at all.

Criticizing the system is fine. Proposing alternatives is tough. Criticism similar to the above was the major cause of the Soviet revolution and other communist revolutions in the 20th century, but I don’t think any created a real alternative to what existed previously.
