I would like to give my warmest congratulations to our Chirol, who was recently married. To the honourable Sir Ignatius Valentine and the lovely Lady Chirol, on behalf of the CA community, I say: Prost!
As per Royal Geographic Society rules the exact time and location of the ceremony are to be kept confidential. The new Lady Chirol is a highly educated native of Munich, Germany. Chirol is the last of the CA trio to be wed, and all three of us have international marriages.
Once again: Congratulations!

Thomas added these pithy words on 07 Sep 07 at 3:45 amThose international weddings can be dangerous. When my father left England he was bidden by my grandmother to go find new blood to enrich the family gene pool.
What does he do? He goes any marries a first generation American woman who’s grandparents all come from the isle of Great Britain.
When my grandmother said, “expand the bloodline,” she didn’t mean go find someone who’s half Welsh.
Curzon added these pithy words on 07 Sep 07 at 4:51 amThomas: I think my wife is actually somewhere about my 50th cousin. This dangerous inbreeding must be stopped!
(The maximum number of ancestors for most people is likely to occur around 1200 AD. Some geneticists believe that everybody on earth is at least 50th cousin to everybody else.)
