Marmot has some truly awesome pictures of the British Ambassador’s residence in Seoul, a lovely Georgian-style brick building dating from 1890 that originally served as the British Legation to Korea. Also of note are some pictures of an Anglican church.
Also, I can’t help but pass along this little note:
Two important visitors during the 1890s were the celebrated lady traveller Mrs. Bishop and the future Lord Curzon. Both wrote valuable books about Korea, both now translated into Korean and still quoted today.
