I mentioned last week that Eddie of Live from the FDNF was in Germany and we met up for a few days. Here are a few pictures of that time:

Did you get to see the house where Albert Speer grew up? I would imagine that is a quite a tourist attraction.

Heidelberg is beautiful. When I lived there, we all gathered on the bridge one night to watch the annual burning of the castle (reenactment of the French burning it down 400 years ago or something) and instead everyone pointed at this funny light in the sky and yelled “ooh eff oh! ooh eff oh!”

What day were you there? As it happens, Madam-at-Arms and I were visiting the old city quarter in Heidelberg (just below the castle) this past Friday.
