Looks like Frank Miller isn’t the only one to take an historical event and turn it into a comic. Sid Jacobson and Ernie Colon have released the comic version of the 9/11 Commission Report. It is endorsed by the Chair and Vice-Chair of the Commission.

You need to look up Larry Gonick’s “The Cartoon History of the Universe.” Several volumes of collected comic books, now. Really good as a basic survey of general world history.

I have one of those actually. Curzon himself referred me to them a number of years ago. They are really great for a big-hand-small-map look at history. Highly recommended.
