Kissinger on Transatlantic Ties

Kissinger on a “war of civilizations: ”

“We now know that we face the imperative of building a new world order or potential global catastrophe. It cannot be done alone by either side of the Atlantic. Is that realization sufficient to regenerate a common purpose?”

Unfortunately for optimists like Thomas Barnett, intangible threats, the balance of power and the structure of the international system aren’t things that easily bring people together. We need a big bad wolf and it seems UBL and Iran aren’t good enough.

"Here":http://www.reformer.com/editorials/ci_4328428 is an editorial that is getting a bit fed up with all the war-mongering we're hearing.

New world order, eh? Hasn't the indispensable nation already missed its opportunity to shape a multipolar world to its liking? The free geopolitical market is filling the gap.....

"Here is an editorial that is getting a bit fed up with all the war-mongering we're hearing."

Kind of sounds like the equivalent to all the enviro-disaster-mongering I hear on a daily basis.
