Via our friends at ChicagoBoyz comes probably the funniest thing to emerge from the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hizballah. It is supposedly part of an Israeli psyops campaign and is broadcasted on Lebanese tv

Very catchy. Can anyone rip an mp3 off the movie? A catchy tune like that belongs on my mp3 player.

Lex: Boy I rememer my trip to Israel and from the first 10 minutes I became a big fan of the Girls of the IDF. The teenage one who was working customs and grilling me about my grandfather's name and why I'd been to Syria stole my heart. And it didn't stop there. Hot foreign girls with machine guns. What more could one ask for?

I'm not so sure. The description suggests it was produced by a company. Is the song in Hebrew? I dropped out of Hebrew school after only a year....

Why on earth would Israeli psy-ops broadcast a video to Lebanon in Hebrew? Completely pointless. This is clearly a mash-up for Israeli (or, at least, Hebrew-speaking) consumption.

The music is catchy, though.

Dan: I dunno. I thought it was in Arabic. I only catch a few Arabic words though. Perhaps Kirk can weigh in and let us know.

Chicagoboyz has it as heavily Hebrew-accented Arabic

This is definitely in Hebrew - I caught a few cognates, all, garbage, dog (kelb) and a few others are the same in Arabic and Hebrew, plus the passthrough words - inshallah (God willing), katyusha, etc. - but this was not in Arabic, not standard and not Lebanese dialect. I'm not sure what the point is if it was really shown on Lebanese TV (I think your sources was confused about this), but t his is funny as hell, wherever it appeared.

Now I need to go run before it gets too late. I'd bet those IDF babes prefer their men lean and conditioned.

Very funny, very catchy. Something to listen to while practicing my "Special Force" techinique (the Hezbollah first person shooter)...

About a hundred times better than that rubbish "Road to Amarillo" video the Brit squaddies in Iraq put together - Israel must be defended if only for it entertainment sector...
Not quite a catchy as Dirty Kuffar, though. Number of times I've found myself whistling that on the way home from the pub...

Tying this into the Jersey Girl thread.. There's been a bit of an invasion by Israelis coming into NYC recently. It's been an explosive pick up in the numbers of attractive Israeli girls. I couldn't be happier. Well that's not true... I'd be even happier if they brought their guns with them.

I'm kind of curious and am hoping that those of Jewish persuasion can answer this question for me. Young Israeli women may be attractive now, but how well do they age? Does Israel suffer from the Anna Kournikova > Babushka syndrome that afflicts Eastern European women?

I say this because I knew this cute Lebanese girl once but oy vey her mother! o.O

She also happened to be fairly hirsute, are Israeli girls likewise?

-Yeah, it's Hebrew.

-I agree that it doesn't make sense as psy-ops, if only because of the language. If they were somehow using it in Lebanon it would at least have Arabic subtitles.

-Nonetheless it's really well done.

-Haven't been to Israel in a while, but my take on the women is that how they age depends heavily on their class and ethnicity, like everywhere else. There are a lot of really attractive ones, and babushka risk for middle-class women is probably not too bad. However, light skin color may be somewhat of a handicap because of the sun.
