On June 25, 1996 terrorists exploded a fuel truck killing 19 US servicemen and 1 Saudi, and wounding 372 others.
Blogsofwar links to Michelle Malkin’s 10 year anniversary post on Khobar Towers. She asks:
How can we fight, let alone win, the “Long War” when we live in a short attention-span culture marinated in p.c. denial about Islamic jihad?
Good question. More resources on the incident at the MIPT Terrorism Knowledge Base

Clinton's trackrecord is poor.
Talking about the threat of Islamic Jihad is far to vague! Why isn't the US realizing that Sauid Arabia is a threat?
Why attack secular Iraq after 9/11 rather than Saudi Arabia, where most hijackers came from? Or at least demand some changes from the Saudis. Recently the Wash Post wrote that even the "reformed" Saudi textbooks preach hatred against infidels.
Apparently you prefer Saudi oil rather than US national security
