Haunting model photography from Italian artist Paolo Ventura

Just thought you might be interested in the book War Souvenir by Paolo Ventura. It’s essentially an eerie, faux photo album. Ventura created scale-sizes sets and figures to reconstruct some pretty graphic scenes from WWI and WWII . You can see some of the images [in] a gallery where he’s exhibiting images from the book.
Photography is one of those interesting crafts that has so many creative dimensions (such as MutantFrog’s tilt/shift lens fun). I wish I had more time to dedicate to learning about all the amazing things you can do with a camera.
