My father has just arrived in Japan for a visit and we’ll be traveling for the next ten days. We start by flying from Tokyo to Kagoshima, the southernmost prefecture before Okinawa. We then make our way north through the towns noted in the map below.

I expect no access to the internet, so Chirol and Younghusband are on double blogging duty. Au revoir.

Lady Younghusband and I did a similar trip a few years ago. We flew from Kyoto to Miiyazaki, then spent a week taking local trains all the way back stopping here and there to check out the local sites. Good times!
