On to Japan!

On to Japan!

I was going through some things and found this old postcard sent to me from a buddy in Australia. The back of the postcard references the The Battle Box at Fort Canning, which was a WWII underground operations and command center for Lieutenant-General Arthur Percival, commander of the British Land Forces in Malaya and Singapore. Brilliant artwork. Signed by “Sevek.”

Speaking of WWII art, I recently acquired a print of this WPA poster mostly because it references Japan's war on Oregon's forests.

Why isn't Korea in black along with Japan? They were Japan's biggest ally!
