Dalat Flower Festival

In just a few short hours we leave by train for Hue, a few miles south of the old border and the site of the imperial ruins of the last Vietnamese dynasty. In the meantime, this post is for Dr. Alfred Russel Wallace: some photos of the Dalat Flower Festival. Dalat is situated 300km north of Saigon and at the top of some of the tallest mountains in the south.

This is called the “Great Wall Cactus” for the curved flower at the top of the plant.
