Well, another chapter in the saga of Sacha Baron Cohen vs. Kazakhstan. For background see:
The latest move has been for Kazakhstan to pull the plug on Borat’s website which sports a .kz domain name. That’s right, www.borat.kz no longer exists. The President of the Association of Kazakh IT Companies told Reuters that borat.kz had broken “new” rules, and that the admins had registered under false names. Hmmm… and who says Central Asia has had problems throwing off its Soviet history?
Anyways, I am sure this will not go unchallenged and expect Borat’s site to be back up in .com or something similiar soon with some sort of crazy rebuttal. Weeeee! Isn’t freedom of speech fun!

_I like to state I have no connection with Mr. Cohen and fully support my government's decision to sue this Jew," Borat recently proclaimed on his official Website, www.borat.kz._
_He went on to commend his nation's efforts towards civilized reform._
_"Since the 2003 reforms, Kazakhstan is as civilized as any other country in the world. Women can now travel on inside of bus, homosexuals no longer have to wear blue hats and age of consent has been raised to 8 years old._
_"Please, captain of industry, I invite you to come to Kazakhstan, where we have incredible natural resources, hard-working labor and some of the cleanest prostitutes in all of central Asia. Goodbye."_
