Indian vigilantes in Colombia are seizing farms on what they claim are historically Indian lands.

Never heard of Indians in Colombia before?

There are 94 legally recognized indigenous tribes in Colombia, totaling 800,000 people or about 2 percent of the population. Hundreds of thousands of hectares (acres) have been designated as Indian reservations.

Um, one point of nitpicking on the quote:

Hectares are not acres.

Don't mind me if I go off subject here, but is that a shield and spear that guy's carrying? If so, is this a globalization fashion statement or what -- ME'ern Kuffiya, wrapped, plain; Western sports pullover sweat/warmup pants/sneakers and Native warrior instruments.

The guy's got the walk; all he needs is a better runway. But that's my amateur opinion and I really should leave these things to Manolo. I do wonder how many takes were needed before the photographer decided this one was good.
