I would just like to add that Rohani is sorta like the Colin Powell of Iran. While I was doing my unofficial polling in Iran last year, many of the people I talked to wanted him to run for the presidency. Wither he didn't run, or wasn't allowed to run, I am not sure. Anyways, he seemed very popular with the young crowd (which is a big crown in Iran), and in a different way than the ultra-liberal Moin. Great post Chirol.
