I’ve just returned from a few days in Lebanon seeing Beirut, Byblos, Tripoli, Tyre and Baalbeck not to mention no shortage of terrorist propaganda. Once one gets into southern Beirut, it begins. Naturally, most of it was from Hizballah but I also saw posters from the banned (though not in Lebabnon) Hizb ut Tahir as well as Hamas. It was a terrorist’s paradise. However, the best part was that one minute after seeing these posters you’d walk by a KFC, Pizza Hut or McDonalds. The best way to describe Lebanon is as follows. Imagine a city which looks like Europe (like Italy for example). The people in it are Arabs and all the things in it are American. A good example is seeing women in tank tops, tight jeans and high heels walk by while hearing a prayer call and seeing a huge Hummer roar by.
Downtown Beirut. Looks like Italy, feels like America.

Byblos, a quaint and quiet coastal city.

The Hizballah flag flying in the southern Lebanese city of Tyre.

Hamas propaganda: It says “Today Gaza, tomorrow Jerusalem and all of Palestine”

More Hamas propaganda with the same message on it.

The ruins at Baalbeck which rival Palmyra and Apamea.

One of many many many pictures of Hizballa leader Hassan Nasrallah

Another example of one of hundreds of Hizballah flags flying in Baalbeck, their former headquarters. The famous ruins are to the right.
