Swaydo-related: I have a friend here who is has both American and Iranian citizenship and was an officer in the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force. That neither Iran nor the US seems to have a problem with this furthers my belief that tensions are much, much lower between Tehran and Washington than some news reports suggests.

How can you have _both_ Iranian and US Citizenship? Iran doesn't recognize dual citizenship.

Why are you linking to a propaganda site run by an organization that is recognized by the US government as a terrorist organization?

Sara Rajabi, who is the owner of Iran Focus at Association Libertes in France, was picked up by the French police as a terrorist member of the militant, Stalinist Mojahedeen-e Khalq a few years ago.

In France, where killing civilians wouldn't help their agenda, they set themselves on fire; in Iran, however, they regularly plant bombs and kill innocent people because it suits their purpose. Let the situation change, and I guarantee you they would blow people up in France and in the US in a mouse's heartbeat.

Are you people at Coming Anarchy against terrorism or aren't you? Can we get a straight answer, please?

Cowlick, you'd have great career writing for "these guys.":http://www.kcna.co.jp/index-e.htm Enemies of the people beware! Tow the cowlick line -- or else, you terrorism supporters!

Iran Focus opposes the regime in Tehran. As for the French, need I remind you that it was they who hosted "Ayatollah Khomeini in exile?!":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayatollah_Khomeini

Few things.

First, Iran do acknowledge dual citizenships. My good friend is a walking example of this with his two passports..

Second, you should understand that the US didn't try to prevent Mahmood A. to come to UN General Assembly, but rather gave clear statement that the rule set (forgive me using Barnett's thesis) for the international society is much defined by the strongest, the US.

Duran -- Iran does NOT acknowledge dual citizenship, and in the US, it's unclea (the State Dept says it's OK, the INS says it isn't). Dual citizens can keep both by simply not telling (the same is true for Japan), but if Iran finds out that an Iranian citizen also holds a US passport, they will confiscate the US passport and probably not allow the person in question to leave the country.

I never mentioned about the dual citizenship with the Iran and US connection. What I'm talking about is Iran - European dual citizenship.

BillyBob, I wipe my ass with the image of your mother.

First of all, it's "TOE the line" not "TOW the line," you idiot hick.

Second of all, if denigrating the French in Freeperdom is what you are after, then maybe you shouldn't link to an article that says that the French offered to assasinate Khomeini when he was there in '78!!! Ya think?!!

Do you even read what you link to, you half-wit idiot?
