After shopping around the big Hammadiya Souq in old Damascus, I’ve finally acquired a jalaba (the long robes worn by many Muslims). So readers, its your decision:

Chirol of Arabia or Osama bin Chirol ?

Sorry to be so late responding to comments. I've been felled by something I ate and was totally out of comission all of yesterday, today's a bit better though.

Dont know why it looks like I have an earring, didnt notice that until it was mentioned.

As for the face, didnt have my trusy Chirol face graphic to use nor any real photo editing software!

Aha, so you've finally succumbed to the "shawarma virus" as I like to call it. All visitors normally go through this, usually within the first few days. To have gone for 2 weeks in Syria without violent diarrhea surely means someone was looking out for you. Anyways, if it doesn't kill you, it'll only make you stronger...
