We at ComingAnarchy like to occasionally point out useful resources to our readers such as Google Earth, the CIA World Factbook and Wikipedia as well as books or movies of interest such as Long Way Round. In that spirit, I’d like to point out PBS’ Frontline series.
As someone who lives abroad, I of course am out of the loop in many ways and one way to get top quality reporting and a little bit of home is to point my browser at Frontline and catch any of the over 50 shows they have available online to view. Most are an hour or more and cover topics such as:
Private Contractors in Iraq
The Mentally ill in American Prisons
Karl Rove
Israel’s problems with Jewish extremists
Being embedded in Iraq for 1 month
…and much more. The quality of their reporting is top notch and you’ll find investigative journalism far better than anything in the MSM. You can watch it in Windows Media Player or Real Player. And their broadcasting partner on the radio NPR, is also well worth your time for fabulous broadcasting also available online.
