Testing Your Cartographic Mettle

Those of you who love geography as much as I do may enjoy this free online program that allows you to drag and drop the countries, capitals, rivers, and mountains of the world on to maps. Think you know maps? Then where’s the Sierra Madre de Sur in Mexico? What’s the capital of Oman? Where is Slave River in Canada? Can you locate the Sea of Okhostsk? How about the Guyanan Highlands or the Karakum Desert?

Finally, a program that gives you an easy and fun way to learn this stuff, and much, much more. Check it out.

That's a great one. Check out the Geography Olympics

It's a flash game where it gives you limited time and 10 random countries to name on the map. I rock except for confusing the south pacific islands often.
