I’m not sure why Lord Curzon expects a detour through the Yukon, but I would be interested in your thoughts of the future of the NorthWest Territories and the Yukon… might they get a new name soon? Do the locals there use the curious Pitman shorthand-based language they use in Nunavut?

I hate looking for apartments sooooo much. I’m about to hop in the car to go up to Seattle to find something. Of course I’ll be running around the city all day… Knowing how fed up I get with this sort of thing, I’ll probably just take the first place I see.

A truly trying trip indeed. 68 hours. Is Greyhound “mad ghetto” in Canada like in the states? Enjoy your journey and good luck with the search! I’ll be heading back to Germany on the 18th and then off to Syria the 2nd so looks like we’ll all be underway soon.

Best of luck, Sir Francis. I will be departing Japan on the 24th, so it will be a travel day for all of us. Please take lots of pictures of your transyukon journey and show us them on the blog.

Also, is that $35 CANADIAN? A total steal!
