Pure Evil

This photo from ABC News shows an x-ray of an unexploded devices found in the trunk of a car belonging to Shehzad Tanweer, one of the 7/7 bombers. Inside the trunk were twelve bombs and four improvised detonators.

That bomb was made with the sole intent to hurt, maim, and kill as many surrounding civilians as possible. And pure evil is the only way to describe it.

Apparently that photo was brought to us by ABC.

Perhaps we can get a blogospheric wide effort to email that pic to that half-wit Islamist-appeasing Canadian M.P. and asker her how we should refer to Tanweer.

Just about the only thing an al Qaida member could do to wring a condemnation out of the hard Left is to join the Republican Party.

"Just about the only thing an al Qaida member could do to wring a condemnation out of the hard Left is to join the Republican Party".

Mark, that is a hilarious comment. And yes, the appeasing Canadian MP was Carrolyn Parrish, I think (I'm Canadian, but live in South Korea)? I'm sure she would consider him to be a 'freedom fighter'.

Oops, I just scrolled down and sure enough, the next posting is all about the terrorist-lover herself.

Extraodindary picture in my opinion. Either MI5 and the Met are doing really well, or they are making this all up for whatever reason...mind you, us Brits are quite skeptical about what was released on TV.

"Brits are quite skeptical about what was released on TV."

Yes, perhaps Tony Blair and the evil neocons are bombing British public transportation facilities in an effort to blacken the reputation of activists from peace-loving organizations of Salafi and Deobandi lunatics

In addition to "evil," I would also describe it as "incredibly effective." If you want to scare the living shit out of everyone in a major city, demonstrating that bombs like this can be carried around undetected and set off anywhere is a damn good way to do it. And any crowded place--be it a subway car, a bus, an airplane, or a scramble crossing--is vulnerable.

The only way to defend against this is to (a) crucify those responsible and (b) not fear it, even for a second.

Mark: Perhaps that would be the most successful tactic for the WOT. We can just mail Republical membership forms to Osama, all of Saudi Arabia, mosques etc. Or, we can just forge their memberships, then send it to DailyKos and bing, the left will finally come out against these people!
