Some of you reading this are faithful regulars. Some of you come from other blogs. And a few of you arrive here via search engines. That means you type a word or two into google or elsewhere, one of the results that comes up is this site, and you click it. Almost two thousand readers have arrived via internet searches, and some are hopefully finding what they’re looking for.
But some may be disappointed, and here’s my top ten list of the most unusual search terms that bring people to this blog.

I suspect that the difference between experienced/tech-savvy Internet users and the rest is exactly that they understand they way search engines work (they refine their phrasing).

My path was more the usual, I suspect. Was watching Charlie Rose on PBS … a guest I liked mentioned Robert Kaplan … Charlie Rose responded: “we’ve had him on the show” ... indicating that he did not entirely approve of Mr. Kaplan.
I do not entirely approve of Mr. Rose.
