Bracing for the Connectivity Influx

Have you been thinking of visiting Chechnya? Wanted to book that nice vacation to Grozny? Worried about carrying large amounts of cash or travelers checks? Well fear not:

CHECHNYA’S FIRST AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINE OPENED IN GROZNY

GROZNY, May 11 (RIA Novosti) – Chechnya’s first cash dispenser has been opened in Grozny, the capital. It is in the government building and will service clients of the North Caucasian bank of the Russian Savings Bank (Sberbank), the bank press service said. The ATM will provide full-fledged bank service to holders of the international payment systems Visa and MasterCard, the press service said.

While connectivity usually breeds more connectivity, the question must be asked: Does anyone even have enough money to deposit in the bank?
