Looks like you just answered your question.  And strategy was never the problem. Iraq had to go, there were too many pros for not invading.  But they could've carried it out _much_ better.  So strategy wasn't the problem, tactics were. Like the number of avoidable scandals ... As you said plans of attack tend to get FUBAR'd, but some of the on-the-fly decision-making ... just makes you wanna cry. You'd think they would try to be extra sensitive since everyone wants them to fail.</description>
