From The Globe & Mail
The youth of Canada are less apathetic than their critics would suggest. A report on the June 28 federal election released this week by Chief Electoral Officer Jean-Pierre Kingsley shows the turnout among people in the 18-30 age group increased by a shade less than 55 per cent over the previous vote.
This is definitely a welcome trend and I hope that the youth of our neighbour to the south follow it in the upcoming election. Get out and VOTE!!
