1924 Election Flashback

The New Republic offers an interesting flashback from 80 years ago. The magazine, in its progressive infancy, refused to endorse a candidate in 1924 and instead let three reporters justify their vote for President Coolidge, Democrat Davis, and third party insurgent Senator La Follette. Worth a read for those of you interested in this time in American history when optimism and prosperity were abound.
