Oh man, here we go… Cue spooky music…

DISCLAIMER: I am NOT a regular viewer of the X-Files and rarely indulge in conspiracy theories.

Anyways, this morning my Economist update came with a headline about G7 in Washington next weekend. It made me stop for a second. You see, I have been contemplating a question: “Will there be an AQ attack on Oct 11th 2004?” This G7 meeting provided the kind of target I was looking for…

Lemme explain the background of this question.

According to the 9/11 Commission Report Osama Bin Laden (UBL) pressured Khalid Sheik Mohammed (KSM) to set the “planes operation” in motion on May 12th 2001, exactly 7 months after the attack on the USS Cole Oct 12 2000. Due to training issues KSM said he couldn’t pull off the attacks that quickly and it was postponed to the now famous 9/11. What is the religious/historical significance for AQ of second wave attacks 7 months later? (and if anyone can answer this please do)

In the past few months there has been significant upswing in the press about “chatter” in regards to an attack before the US presidential elections. It just so happens that October 11th 2004 is BEFORE the elections. It also just so happens that Oct 11th is 7 months after the March 11th bombings in Madrid affectionately known as 3/11. And now there is a nice little target presenting itself. AQ feels they changed the outcome of the March elections in Spain with 3/11, maybe they feel they can control the outcome of the Nov elections with 10/11.

What about 7 months after the original 9/11? Or 7 months after the Bali bombings? This is where the theory opens more questions. KSM has admitted that they were preparing a second wave for after 9/11, but who knows when that would be carried out. Bali happened October 12 2002… Let’s look at those dates now:

  • Oct 12 2000 (USS COLE)
  • May 12 2001 (Original date for 9/11)
  • Sept 11 2001 (9/11)
  • Oct 12 2002 (Bali)
  • March 11 2004 (3/11)

Whoa, these tea leaves reveal a thing or two. I may be off on the 10/11 thing, but maybe only by one day. Seems 10/12 is a dangerous day…

One year anniversaries are tempting due to their symbolism… but will they do it again? Any thoughts are welcome.

    PS. Did anyone notice that 3/11 happened exactly 911 days AFTER 9/11???

    Isn’t 10/11 too early to affect the election? Remember thatn 3/11 happened literally days before the Spaniards went to the polls. I think 10/11 would be too soon, and they would need to hit nearer to the election day. But I agree it is spooky…
