Guantanamo Denmark Detainee

1143 GMT - DENMARK—A former Danish detainee at Guantanamo Bay says he plans to join Muslim rebel forces in Chechnya fighting Russia. In a live interview on Danish DR-1 television channel late Sept 29, 31-year old Slimane Hadj Abderrahmane—born of a Danish mother and Algerian father— said he is seeking clandestine means of getting into Chechnya. When reminded that he was released by the U.S. military on the condition he not engage in warfare, Abderrahmane remarked, “They can use it [the pledge] as toilet paper over there in the United States.”
